Update

Here is Matthew at 3 days old.
Colby and Sara love to play under the coffee table. They love to pretend that it is broken and they need to get all of Colby's tools out and fix it. I wonder were they get that from:)

Sara loves to snuggle with Papa, here they are all playing a Little Einstein's game.

On Sat. Jordan, Gary, and Colby worked outside building a "rock pit" also know as a sandbox filled with rocks. Colby is so excited to have somewhere outside to play with all his trackers.

Here is Matthew today. Yesterday we decide he was looking pretty yellow, so we had his billirubin checked and it was high. So now he is on a billi lamp. I guess all his bruising from labor can increase the chance of jaundice. The worst part is I don't get to hold him all the time. Other than that we are all doing good. Jordan took Colby and Sara to our new ward today, so I'm just enjoying a little quite time at home.

He's Here!!!

Hi all, Jordan here. We went in to have a routine 39-week doctor's appointment today and the doctor offered to induce Cassie today. She jumped at the chance, so he called and got us in. We ran home to drop off Colby, grab the hospital bag and eat a bite of lunch. Then we were back out the door to get to the hospital by about 1:30. She started Pitocin at 2:30. By 4:45 the contractions were very regular and pretty intense, even if they weren't hurting at all, so the doctor broke her water. That really got things going. Contractions started to be pretty intense and painful, but Cassie did great. She was way tuff (that's TUFF). So a mere 50 minutes later she was ready to push. When I told her nurse, she grabbed the doctor and the staff flooded the room. (Cassie may have mentioned that the other two kids went very quickly, so they were ready.) Baby was born at 5:32 and weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 12 oz!!! No one could believe it, but he is a chunk. I said he gets that from his cousin on my side. Not sure exactly how that works, but whatever. Anywho, everyone is doing great. Mom is happy and feeling good and baby is happy, healthy, and chunky. Enjoys these pictures and we're so excited!

Wow, 6 Years!!

Jordan and I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary yesterday. I can't believe it's been 6 years since the big "I DO." I know it's cheesy but I'm going to tell everyone that reads this what I love about Jordan.
Jordan is so selfless, he is always putting everyone needs before his own, he is so service oriented, he is so smart and logical (which counter balances all my mood swings), he makes me laugh, we can go on a 21 hour car ride and not listen to music-because we are too busy talking, he is an amazing father, he is so patient, he is very thoughtful and romantic, he is very handy (as all of you already know), he's not afraid to jump in and learn how to do something, I love that his favorite thing to do is to hang out with me, he is a big tease, he has a great testimony of Christ, he comes from a great family and my family loves him, and he still thinks I'm cute when I'm 38 weeks pregnant, . I'm so bless to be his wife!
"I love you Jordan" So for our anniversary, against my Doctors advise, Jordan took me two hours west, into the mountains to a little town called Buena Vista. He booked this little Bed & Breakfast for us to stay in. We had a wonderful time just getting away from our daily lives. Just for everyones peace of mind we are back, no baby, and it was soooo worth the risk:) Thank you honey, and a thanks to Gary and Cynthia for watching Colby and Sara.
This is the Bed & Breakfast cabin we stayed in.Right off the back porch was the Arkansas River.
This was the view out our front window! It was absolutely gorgeous.

Long overdue update!

Sorry it's been so long. We have been so busy and yet I'm not sure what we have been so busy doing. I think that might be the theme at our house for the next little while. So in a nut shell I think we are just trying to get through each day until our new little one arrives. As I'm getting bigger and bigger I think Colby and Sara are getting faster and faster. We've been trying to go on fun outings each day (both to for fun and help the days go faster). We love the park and the weather has been very cooperative. The other day we took a kite to the park. Colby cried almost the entire time the kite was in the air. I didn't know that kids could be afraid of a kite, I thought all kids loved them. Colby did love kicking around the soccer ball with Dad. Other than last weeks of pregnancy pains we are all doing great! Here are a couple of fun pictures from this past month.

So Sara loves to feed herself these days. Although lately she has decided that it is really fun to put apple sauce and yogurt in her hair.

So much more fun that with a spoon and into her mouth:)

Colby and Sara love to read books. I think they would be has happy as any kids could be if someone would read to them all day.

OK so a few of you have asked, here it is. I'm 37 weeks pregnant in this picture. We are sure looking forward to meeting this new little guy. Any day now:) At my last apt. I was dilated to a 3, so we are excited things are happening.

Here is Nonnie giving Colby and Sara a little piano lesson.

Colby and Sara with their very, very, loved bears.

Sara's 1st Haircut!

Today we gave Sara her first haircut. Many of you probably remember how wild and crazy her hair was so we thought we'd try and tame it a little. I think it'll be nice when all her hair grows in at the same time, but for now she sure doesn't have much hair. Mom you'll love that it is out of her eyes. Pretty darn cute!

Over the weekend we had some friends over and Jordan help Colby and his friends build a race track down the stairs. Needless to say the boys loved it.

Colby and Sara spent last Friday helping mom make crafts for the young women in our ward. By the time we got in the car to come home, they were both exhausted. So precious when they are sleeping:)

Colby wanted to talk a picture with Mom. Cheese!

Here is classic Colby these days. He loves running around with hardly any clothes on, wearing his "sunglasses" and playing his "tuba".

Fun Day

I know that I have been quite the blogging slacker. We had a wonderful Christmas in Lake Tahoe with my family, and we had so much fun seeing all of Jordan's extended family in the Bay area over New Years. The drive was a little long, but for the most part the kids did great and the car did great so no big complaints. It is nice to be home and back into a routine. Today we made it to the zoo. Only in Colorado Springs, you can go to the Zoo in the middle of Jan. and have it be a sunny warm 58 degrees. It was a beautiful day to get outside and spend some time together as a family. Here is Colby loving the bear exhibit.

Dad and Sara also enjoyed watching the bears play.

It is so amasing to watch these bears play only feet from where we were standing.
