10 Days and we're Back!

Happy Halloween! We hope you all and lots of fun and treats. Colby dressed up as Bob the Builder--doesn't if fit him well and Sara went as a little angel.

Nonnie and Papa took Colby and Sara to our ward Halloween Party. Thank you so much for watching Colby and Sara while Jordan and I enjoyed a little R & R in Hawaii! I do think the kids had a better time than if we had been home.

On Halloween night we went trick or treating with the Calderwoods. Our first stop was to a local nursing home. I have many fond memories of visiting the elderly on Halloween in my hometown of Soda Springs, so I thought it'd be fun to do with my own kids! Colby sure enjoyed having his hat filled with candy.

Jordan and I were invited to a Hollywood couple dinner. We went as the Crocodile Hunter and his wife. We had so much fun hang'n out with some other couples.

So our Hawaii trip! It was so wonderful! I forgot how much I love to hang out with Jordan. It was so nice to be together, to eat when we wanted, to sleep when we wanted, decide to go to the beach and be there 15 minutes later (and not have to pack a diaper bag), it was great to pretend like newly weds:)

The first 2 days we were there Dr. Miles Humble did our dental work. It was actually pretty fun. He took pictures and was explaining everything while he was working--it was very educational. We did all the work after hours so Jordan was Colman's assistant while I was in the chair and visa versa when Jordan was getting his work done (Dad you would love being in charge of the suction and water sprayer). We had a great time hang'n out w/ Colman--even if he was working on our teeth.

Colman also took us on two amazing hikes. The first hike was called "Four Falls". These pictures were taken at the first waterfall. Jordan and Colman enjoyed jumping off the top of this waterfall. I swam in the pool at the bottom (didn't think my OB would like me cliff jumping). Between the second and fourth waterfall were guava fruit trees. It was so cool to eat the fresh guava off the trees. To hike to the last water fall we had to swim across a pool and then hike up the other side. It was absolutely beautiful. The second hike was one of the coolest hikes I've ever been on. We started by hiking up a river. It was a little slippery but really gorgeous. After about 1 1/2 miles we came to a lava tube(About 10 feet high and 5 feet wide). We hiked through the lava tube to get to the top of the hike. In the lava tube you end up rock climbing over about 6 small waterfalls--the biggest one was probably 15 feet. After each waterfall was a small pool to swim across. When we were in the middle of the tube it was completely dark, we had to feel our way forward. It was so awesome. Not really something my doctor would be happy about, but I'm so glad we did it. It was worth how sore my legs were for the next two days. Being sore also gave us a great excuse to sit on the beach and do nothing else for a few days:)

Jordan diving!

If you were wondering what we were doing in Hawaii--this was pretty much it. We went to the beach everyday! Soooooooo relaxing.

We really enjoyed watching the sunsets. This picture is for all of you that haven't seen my growing belly. It is definitely is GROWING.

Thank you Gary and Cynthia for watching our kids so we could go on such a great vacation. Thank you Grandy for the condo--it is absolutely perfect. Thank you Colman for showing us around and hang'n with us old married people. Thank you delta for not crashing. Thank you Jordan for taking me to Maui and hang'n out with me. I love you all!

CRAZY DAY!!!

So we started out this day great! I spent the morning playing on the floor with Colby and Sara and I was truly loving it. So I grabbed my camera think'n cute pictures to blog.

This is the pictures I took at the end of this day! Crazy how our perfect little life can be turned upside down so fast. Cute little Colby was jumping on the couch and landed wrong on his arm. He broke his right arm, same break as earlier this summer. Well if there was any question if Colby would be lefty or righty, I think we've pretty much secured a little lefty. (May he'll be great at the piano like Uncle Colman:)

His little hurt arm hasn't slowed him down much!

1st Pic. of our New Little Bundle

We had our 1st ultrasound a couple weeks ago. Cute little guy. Funny how I think this little skeleton is adorable. This U/S was taken around 12 weeks. We forgot to ask the Doctor when he thinks my due date is, so hopefully at my apt. this next week we'll be able to find out.

Colby's new favorite thing is skateboarding. Not normal skateboarding (thank goodness). He likes to sit on the board, crawl forward, and then push himself backwards and but his legs on the board so he goes really fast. He really loves it.

Colby pretty much wears these little construction goggles everywhere we go. Anytime we are trying to leave the hows Colby runs around saying, "Where are my glasses?"

Last week we went to the Zoo on Thur. and Fri. Colby and Sara has so much fun. Sara really loves the Giraffes. You can't really tell from this picture but she gets so excited that she kicks her legs and her arms flail up and down. On Thursday we went with Tucker and Aubrey and on Fri. we went with Nonnie, Aunt Jenny, and Uncle Brit. It was a very fun week, plus the zoo was very good exercise for me and my rounding belly.

Life in Colorado

Colby is such a great older brother (most of the time). He loves sharing his truck with Sara and pushing her around. Sara loves it until she falls off.

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Colorado Springs Fair. Colby sure loved riding this choo, choo train!

For Tucker's birthday we all went to Chuck-e-cheese. Colby had a great time driving everything. It was my first time to experience the party place and I had a pretty good time myself. Happy B-day Tucker!! Every chance Colby gets he is helping Nonnie cook. He loves cooking! (check out his sunglasses on backwards, wonder were he gets that:)

Sara is almost 10 months old. Wow I can't believe it. She absolutely loves feeding herself. And for being so skinny she is no "salad only" eater. She eats tons of anything we put in front of her. She is also learning to crawl, although she refuses to crawl using her knees so she slides across the floor on her behind. Very cute.

We have had a crazy summer to say the least! We started by selling our adorable little house in Wanship, we moved our bare essentials to the 3040 house and fixed up the basement, then we packed all our stuff in a huge U-haul truck and moved our belongs to a storage unit in Colorado Springs, we returned to Utah sold the 3040 house and fixed up the Liz. Street house, that took us the remainder of the summer, then August we moved the last of our stuff to Gary and Cynthia's basement. Our final house sold the 1st week it was on the market thanks to our Real Estate agent (my sister Erin) and Jordan's amazing remodel job. The slide shows some before and after pictures for all those interested. While we were doing all of that we still found time to go boating, camping, potty train Colby, teach Sara to sleep through the night, take care of Colby with a broken arm, Jordan to have his first Sobriety test, visit with friends we will miss badly, vacation to Lake Powell, the zoo, teething, a few trips to Soda Springs, and last but not least get pregnant! Yep you read that right Jordan and I obviously spent too much time together this summer because we found out the end of July that we are expecting our third:) That will be 3 under the age of 3. We are excited and scared! I have to say that I'm kind of excited for fall--maybe have life slow down a bit:)

Our Idaho Trip

After our Colorado Trip we headed to Idaho to visit my family. We had a great time hanging with my family. Colby absolutely loved riding Lady with Baylee.

Uncle Clayton and Grandma Brower came to shoe horses. Clayton is getting married in a couple weeks and they are having a dance at the reception so Clayton gave my family some country swing lessons. Here is the fam. cut'n a rug!!

Prior to heading to Colorado we spent a week fixing up our 3040 house. Here is the picture of the shower that Jordan tiled.

On Sat. we took a break from remodeling the Liz St. house and went to the the zoo with Grandma Humble and Uncle Colman. We had a great time other than it was very, very, very HOT!

Our visit to Colorado

Wow!! This past few weeks has been crazy. May I spent most of my time packing our Wanship house. I'm really going to miss that place, mostly my awesome neighbor. The 1st week in June we lived in the 3040 house to remodel the basement. Mom and Cynthia came to help, thank heavens for Grandmas. Then Friday we packed almost everything we own into a 26 foot moving truck and headed for Colorado. Jordan started his new job and Nonnie and I played with the kids. Now we are headed back to Utah to start another remodel project. I'm going almost crazy trying to keep track of were all of our stuff is (Storage, 3040 house, Liz st. house, or @ Christensen's house). Seriously I think we might have too much stuff. Here are a few pics. of our latest adventures.
O.K. we were driving down the street from Gary and Cynthia's house in Colorado and we saw this huge black Bear in the street. We stopped and took pictures as he climbed over the fence. I've see bears in the Zoo but holy cow!!

So this is how I get everything done. Sara is always riding on my back.

So Colby's hair was getting "a little crazy" to say the least. So while we were staying at Nonnie's and Papa's house we cut it. It's not as curly so I'm a little sad but he is still very cute.

We gave Sara a sippy for the 1st time and she loved it! She was so thrilled to hold her own drink. I can't believe she is old enough to drink from a sippy. I guess I just have a hard time letting her grow up.

While we were in Colorado we went to the swimming pool. The pool we went to had a kids pool that was only 2 feet deep. Colby loved the freedom of being able to move around by himself. Sara loved watching the other kids play in the water.

What a cutie pie.

Colby and Sara at the park. Sara loved to sit at the top of the slide and pretend to go down, where Colby loved running, jumping, and climbing. ALL Boy!

While we were in Colorado we had Cody and Lisa Calderwood over for dinner. Tucker and Colby found the hose and couldn't be happier. I think they have both found a new friend. Who would of thought back 28 years ago when Cody and I were playing together that our kids would play together someday.

The week before we came to Colorado we spent fixing up our old house to sell. Colby was a great little painter. Thanks Mom and Cynthia for all of your help on the house and with the kids. Sorry Dad I forgot to take pictures of the bathroom tile job that Jordan did. I'll post pictures when we return to Utah.
